The process of glass replacement goes as follows:
- We first use a powerful vacuum to remove all the bits of the shattered glass.
- A glass of the right shape and size will be expertly fitted in your window.
- The interior door panels will be aligned and adjusted as per the new window.
You can rest assured of the quality of the glass used as it will meet the requirements of Australian Design Rule ADR 8/01, as well as Australian Standard AS/NZS 2080:2006. Also, the whole process of glass replacement can take about 30-60 minutes depending on the damage done.
Coming to the window regulator, this is the unit that helps to raise and lower the window glass. It may be controlled manually or through electrical switches. Either way, over time these window regulators may stop functioning smoothly or may get jammed and not work at all.
